I’ve been watching this Showtime series via Netflix and, while it is not 100% historically-accurate, it is close enough to make it an enjoyable experience.
Having just watched the first 7 episodes thus far, it is interesting to see how an individual (albeit an all-powerful monarch) can impact the world around him (including his family) in a negative way by following his emotions and not his reason.
